Parking is never a problem and the atmosphere inside is nice. The tables are laid out nicely. The large bowl of soup is huge. I’m over 6’ tall and 250 pounds and I had a very hard time to finish their large bowl. I ordered the rare steak soup and that is all that I eat there I love it. The regular size bowl is good size too and enough for me. The young staff there are very friendly and always attentive to our needs. I feel this is a very good option for those wanting Vietnamese soup in the Tracy area as it is easy to get to near the Home Depot plaza. I can’t speak for the rest of the menu but there are a large number of options ranging from rice dishes, appetizers and soups. Please give this place a try if you’re into this type of food/dining experience. The place seems to be run by a nice family who is passionate about providing good food to a select customer base. My husband and I really love this place. We would come here when we were dating and now as a married couple. So I'd say we've been coming here for about 4 years now. I wanted to try something different than my usual order. Thanks to photos on here and process of elimination, I ordered the các món bún: B2. Vermicelli with grilled pork and shrimp. The meat was so flavorful and the shrimp had a nice grilledness to it, I felt like I was eating bbq. Then the fresh veggies and peanuts added great texture and the fish sauce made it all better. I'm not a fan of fish sauce but here it was necessary and was a bite of explosive flavors. I kept telling my husband how much I throughly enjoyed the dish and would order it again in a heartbeat. Well today I was craving it again and because I wouldn't stop talking about how amazimg it was, he got the same as me! It was as yummy as the last time and I'm so happy I've discovered this dish. I always wanted something like this but didn't know the name. We placed a phone order and was ready when we arrived. Remember to ask for a side of their chili oil! I saw on my last visit they now sell it for $5.50 in a little jar.
We've had lunch here five times, and so far, our group has tried: Shrimp Spring Rolls (mostly because of their peanut sauce) 9/10 Crispy Egg Rolls 9/10 Pho with various proteins 8/10 French Fries 10/10 Beef Fried Rice 7/10 Grilled beef rice plate 5/10 Grilled pork chop rice plate 9/10 Chow Fun with Chicken 10/10 Six months ago, I tried my least favorite dish grilled beef with rice. It didn't have enough flavor and was too dry. Even the fried egg was overcooked and disappointing. My sister's Grilled Pork Chop was full of flavor, and she kindly, as usual, shared a bite. We returned last weekend, and our favorite was the Chicken Chow Fun. The noodles were savory, seared, thick, chewy, and full of umami flavor. I've had plenty of chow fun at other places, but these were the best. The bits of chicken were small and didn't add much to the flavor. There were also green onions and peppers for some added crunch, all topped with plenty of cilantro. I also had the Pho with meatballs. I mostly sipped on the broth since I was full of appetizers and Chow Fun. The broth hit the spot, and I was also happy with the abundance of Thai basil. The place I usually go to for Pho is stingy with their basil. The servers mostly left us alone but quickly gave us the napkins and to go boxes we requested. It's casual, clean, and inviting. Outdoor seating is also available.
We've been coming here since 2019 and it's been our go to for all things pho. It's been awhile, the quality seemed to waver a bit, but now it's back to consistency and quality taste. Today, it was the BBQ Pork with Egg Noodles and some Baby Bok Choy. Their hallmark has been their broth, the longer it cooks, the better it gets. Today was sublime. Service is non intrusive and they've spruced up the interior with new seating. All in all, they're back on the map and servin' it up.
Everything we ordered was on point. Rolls were all fresh! A1 R1 were perfection. Fried wontons were good too. It was done just right!! Filling was satisfying. Dare I say maybe even better than the ones we've had around the bay area. Broths were well seasoned, full of flavor steaming hot all the way til the end. Decent amount of meat in each. The gravy on the pan fried noodles was really good, not too salty or watery. Dining room was good size, not too noisy appeared clean. No sticky tables or floors unlike some other Pho places. Service was pleasant. No one hovered yet we did not feel neglected. We got the right amount of attn. We will definitely be back.
