Iron Hill Brewery - Tradesville

I ordered an appetizer, a burger, and a drink online for pickup. The appetizer was missing, the burger and side of sweet potato fries were very overcooked, and the drink was half full. I did get a full refund, but I wouldn't have needed to if my order was correct.

Ordered the Shrimp Bucatini and my wife ordered the Herb Grilled Chicken Breast. Her chicken came out dry but we requested a new one and it was perfect. My entree was very good.. Server was very busy but quick on a saturday night. Some nice jazz/blues music to enjoy with the dinner made the atmosphere enjoyable but pretty loud overall.

My husband and I got the fish and chips which was delicious. It was a nice evening so we also got to eat outside. The service was wonderful as well.

Have dined at Iron Hill twice. While the service has been very good, the food, with the exception of the Kennett Square mushroom soup which is excellent!, has been just average. Nice selection of beers

My family of four dined here for Mother’s Day dinner and it was at best okay. We did forget to take pictures so bear with me. My husband ordered the raspberry fizz for a drink and said it was good. It was strong but he wasn’t complaining. He originally picked this place because of the creativeness of the menu and I have to agree. The menu looked amazing. The execution of the food was okay at best. It seemed more along the line of something I would get at my mom’s house and despite her best efforts she isn’t a great cook. Our waitress came by before we got our food to let us know there was a mix up in the kitchen with our food and it would be out shortly which was fine. My son ordered the fish and chips, once he got his food the fish was cold and I guess it had sat long enough the fish had over cooked so it was dry as well, his fries had zero seasoning on them. My daughter got her burger which was great perfectly cooked and it was hot. She had no complaints. I ordered the pork chop which came with a side of finger potatoes and broccoli. Potatoes and broccoli had no seasoning at all, just steamed broccoli and flash fried potatoes. My pork chop was cooked on a grill which I love char on a pork chop but I guess my plate was the other plate that was sitting because my food was warm ish but the pork chop had over cooked from sitting and some of the pork chop was more than charred it was flat out burnt. My husband got the pork cutlets. He said his food was hot but his greens were inedible since they were drowning in oil. He also said his potatoes were just bland. Also something we thought was just odd was we had a reservation for 7:15 and we were about ten minutes early and by no means expecting to be sat immediately but the table we were sat at had been empty and waiting since we walked in the door but we were not sat until exactly 7:15. Again not a complaint I just thought it was odd especially since they were overly busy. We love trying new places and we know along with that not every experience is promised a good one. This review isn’t to deter you from trying this place this is just our experience hopefully yours is different and better.
