If it's not on the menu, don't hesitate to ask - you might be pleasantly surprised. My go-to order is the large breakfast with a delicious hot chocolate. The only downside is that depending on the time of day, securing a table can be tricky (though not an issue for me since I live nearby). Weekends tend to be the busiest, so table availability may be more challenging for those traveling to dine here. Fortunately, Sue and the staff have now added outdoor seating, weather permitting. I must address a previous complaint about the staff mopping up too early - I disagree. They uphold high standards of cleanliness at all times, especially during inclement weather or peak hours. Don't let that deter you from experiencing their exceptional service.
We tend to meet up with friends for breakfast on a Sunday , really nice we all have different breakfast items , friendly staff lovely clean place
I have visited this cafe multiple times and have enjoyed my experience each time. I highly recommend the Pancakes with Fruit for breakfast and the cheese toastie for lunch. The staff are friendly and accommodating, and the restaurant is consistently clean. This place is a hidden gem.
We both had excellent veggie breakfasts with loads of toast. My espresso was good and the ladies who served us where very friendly. I'd never been before but got the feeling that it was at the hub of the community and it was nice to step into that. There is nothing fancy about it, they do the basics very well and that's always welcome.
I came to Pines on the recommendation of my garage who are doing my MOT. What a lovely cafe. Friendly and comfortable
