Steak and caramelised onion sandwich absolutely amazing! Steak melted on the tongue! Cooked to perfection! Definitely would return!

Great bacon sandwitch- however after paying 7 quid and it not having the sauce I requested- I went up and asked for this and the blonde lady did not say a word to me, only squirting some sauce into a pot (not helpful for a sandwich) before turning away. Great to treat paying customers with such contempt.

After a beautiful bike ride through the lanes of Cheshire I decided to have a coffee and a “butty” in what was the market hall in Altrincham. The Tender Cow is the breakfast option here so I ordered a bacon sandwich, though priced at £6.50 which I thought a little “strong” , but what the heck. After a little negotiation regarding the bread being toasted the “buttie” arrived after 10 minutes. No napkin, no knife, no option of any sauces. If £6.50 is the going rate then one would expect the above. It’s a great venue (the market hall) but possibly in my experience more style over content.

Love love love the steak ciabatta and the sustainably produced meats are definitely worth the extra cost.
