The Canadian Charcoal Pit - Trafford

I am from Arizona, but I served a Mormon mission here back in 1980 and this was the one place that had the best burgers in the world better than any that I have in America. And so literally I’ve been coming back for 43 years to this same place and same location. Their hamburgers and onion rings are second to none. And the lady that’s been serving us has been there 27 years, that’s crazy. When we bring my kids over and grandkids this is their favorite stop, we purchase takeout and then we walk across the street to the picnic tables and enjoy the best burgers around.

Absolutely the Best Burgers you will ever taste! Always make a point of nipping in for lunch, if in Altrincham. My Sons, love them, have even requested one be brought home to Warrington, if they know I'm nearby.....! The Staff are fantastic, friendly. Pop in for a cheeky Flame Grilled Burger, if in Altrincham...! It would be rude not too..!

Always great food from here.Wide range of meals available , good prices. Friendly staff, clean kitchen. Enjoyable meals every time !

Awesome takeaway, been going for over 10 years now and never had a bad experience, food is always piping hot and very tasty

The food was that bad that the dog wouldn't even eat it but the bin did enjoy it. I would not recommend this place overpriced for what was on offer
