Located just outside the actual town of Trassenheide, just behind the dunes of the Baltic Sea. From outside rather inconspicuous, in the middle of the forest, so it surprises inside and opens to amazing size. The pretty main restaurant, as well as a light-flooded conservatory and a Mediterranean planted terrace, make it a difficult to select the suitable seat. Fresh flowers on the tables, fabric napkins and tablecloths strengthen the first good impression. The menu offers a wide selection of regional wild and fish, which is supplemented by a season ticket depending on the season. We felt the point: Appetizer Pomeranian seasonings fine 4.50 Euro main dishes Kutterscholle with crooked roast potatoes and mixed salad very good 15.50 Euro Rothirschkalbsbraten with homemade clubs, cranberries and vegetables butterzart deer calves, tasty clubs bathed in Mel ample sauce 17.50 Euro The friendly, competent service gladly explained how the tasty sauce is made to the plaice, which meant this or that type of preparation ....... was thought up with a lush tip. Here we enjoyed so much service, ambience, favorable price performance ratio, not as overflowing as the locals in the center and the promenade ... so that we returned 2 days later to coffee and cakes on the way back from the beach. This time we were spoiled with apple strudel and egg liqueur 3.70 euros, plum stew cake 1.80 euros, as well as with Latte Macchiato and milk coffee. This time too, the very friendly service, the good price performance ratio, the good taste. No wonder the restaurant was booked almost daily, and many regular guests have come for years.

The room, food and staff is top, the location is excellent, quietly located in the forest and in a 5-minute walk to the beach. But: The younger lady at the reception is only consecrated by uneasiness and pride. Any question you ask is too much. Other guests were also very pampered and replied three times.
