I try many restaurants in koh mak and every time I avoid the western/European tipp (usually expensively unworthy, but here I really enjoyed the company of the owner! this swung had a very fresh house made cousin, from brot to cake that she did not immagine. we had a very good spaghetti (I am Italian, so I know what I'm talking about and goulash and spatzli . I highly recommend, but remember that the place is open from Friday to Sunday (it took a month before we caught the right day!

Stayed at their accommodation. It is a sweet, little, but beautifully equipped apartment. Katusha, the owner was a magnificent host, did all she could for us, from ferry pickup to arranging departure
