Bay Bread Company - Traverse City

We stopped by for lunch today, and it was quite a letdown. There was only one sandwich option: grilled cheese, with or without bacon. We were pressed for time before an appointment and couldn’t go elsewhere. While the food itself was decent, I wouldn't return or recommend this place if you're searching for a proper meal.

I can’t wait for our annual camping trip to Traverse City because I always indulge at this bakery! They have the best bread and an incredible selection of baked goods I've ever encountered. I absolutely love everything they offer!

I visited today and tried my first cinnamon roll; it was incredible! I also really like their sourdough bread for toasting. The aroma from the bakery wafting onto the street was delightful!

Where do I even begin? This absolutely RAVESHING establishment was everything I could've ever asked for in a bakery. The food was wonderful, the atmosphere was exquisite but the staff... The staff was absolutely excellent! They were very helpful, very kind and they did their job with the upmost confidence. If I could get down on one knee and give each of their hands a peck of appreciation I absolutely would.

The place itself is nice, good parking and good location. The staff was not very nice. They weren’t very busy and we still waited a very long time for our food. The food itself was average at best. Prices were good. Overall a very average experience.
