Great Western Public House - Treharris

Nice pub, nice eating. like the small bookcases in the stands.

A lovely spot to dine and enjoy drinks, complete with a children's playground in the back.

I had a lovely time at the Tumble Inn during lunchtime. As a group of nine, we managed to find a large enough table, but it was cluttered with glasses. The bartender kindly asked if someone could assist with cleaning it, and he came over to thoroughly tidy it up for us. Our drinks were served at the table efficiently, and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The service was excellent—definitely the best I've had in a long time. Despite being a busy afternoon with the rugby, our food came out quickly.

I really enjoy this charming little pub. The staff are friendly, the food is excellent, and the prices are reasonable. I often visit as it’s my local pub, and I appreciate their nice selection of tables and stands. It’s conveniently located right across from the Pontypridd train station, making it a perfect spot for a quick bite before traveling. As a student, I find their prices to be quite affordable for the quality they offer. It’s also one of the few places where I can find great beers like Tyskie and Staropramen. I absolutely love the Tumble Inn!
