Halenda's Meats Oshawa, Taunton Road

NY Steak (especially when on sale) is amazing! The staff is incredibly helpful, and the owner takes the time to thank customers for their support. Just as important, the quality and value are exceptional. It's a lovely shopping experience all around. Hands down, I’m a fan!

Since moving to Oshawa, we've been visiting this restaurant regularly. The chicken they serve is consistently fresh and delicious.

I discovered this hidden gem some time ago, and I can't believe I haven't written a review until now! The products are incredible, and the staff—both past and present—are exceptional. Brad and his wife are wonderful owners. The team is consistently efficient, friendly, and helpful, fostering that delightful small-town store vibe. I can mention a few of the staff members: Rebecca, Jamee, Max, Ken, Brian, Cameron, Chris, and I hope I haven’t overlooked anyone. I highly recommend this place! Keep up the fantastic work!

I recently visited this restaurant again and had a wonderful experience with everything I tried. The marinated chicken breasts were incredibly tasty, and the portions were quite generous! The gentleman at the counter who assisted me was fantastic—very friendly and cheerful. However, the girl who checked me out didn’t make eye contact or engage in conversation; she seemed to be hurrying me along. Maybe she was just having a tough day. Despite that, I will definitely return because the food is outstanding!

If you haven't been to Halenda's yet, don’t wait any longer. They offer outstanding cuts of meat in addition to house-made ready-to-cook items and other excellent products. Their specials are always very reasonably priced, and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Be sure to check them out!
