Brasserie Le Sport - Trie-sur-Baïse

Had a very typical French Lunch, reasonable food, reasonable price, reasonable service. No issues at all, but equally nothing really to rave about, hence the average mark.

The staff are excellent, friendly, helpful and patient. Lunch gives two choices of entree and main, with desserts to follow, and it is the best coffee in Trie. The food is uncomplicated, carafes of wine are fine. There is a large French clientele, can...be packed on Tuesdays which is market day, but open mornings, Sunday and closed Monday's.

We've had coffee and lunch here several times and enjoyed everything we've had. Prix Fixe menu good value for money. A typical French cafe, busy, sociable, friendly and efficient staff and despite quite a few British people (residents and holiday makers) still very much a...local cafe. We bought our breakfast croissants next door and ate them at the cafe with the coffees we ordered. We like to sit at one the pavement tables looking across the market square.

Excellent host, simple but balanced menu, many workers use it at lunch time so they can not be wrong, around euro for a starter, main and desert, cant go wrong. Sometimes live music!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
