If you are looking for an excellent cut of beef, cooked properly, this is your place! Great for couples or with friends.

We had a wine tasting and came back in the evening for more. below they have a WeinStubbe, that can seat some 80 people.Grandfather is BBQ, son and daugther serves the food and explains about the wines. The older kids takes care of the younger ones. Perfect.

This is the restaurant everyone hopes to find when they travel to Germany. The atmosphere is so inviting, the service is friendly and quick (but not rushed), and the food is some of the best in the country.

Enjoyed a nice and memoriable anniversary dinner. Although steaks in Germany can be lacking, we decided to try them after reading reviews on Trip Advisor, we weren't dissapointed! They turned out excellent, cooked exactly how I asked. Prices were typical and reasonable. The decorarions were outstanding! Definitly will visit again in the near future.

Read the reviews and decided to give this restaurant a try. I have been to a few places in Trier and each was good...this place was great! If you go during the week and before 8PM, you shouldn't have a problem getting a table. The wait is going to be long...but it is sooo worth it. The food is great...I had the rump steak (recommended). The only con is that you will have to wait. There is only one server (at least when I was there), but it didn't matter. Everyone is very friendly and the ambiance is fantastic...if you are looking for a great German restaurant near Trier...look no further. Also, the prices are very reasonable too. I will definitely visit this place again!
