Contribuisci feedbackOne of our favourite places in Trier is definitely Gigio´s Bistro and Lunchbar. It's the old Köstritzer Haus and the interior looks still the same with all the old music instruments on the walls and ceiling. It is a great place for seafood, pasta, tapas and even steaks. If you like/need special cooking for whatever reason (i.e. low carbs, gluten free, etc.), talk to Roni the owner and CHEF of the restaurant. It is a family run restaurant (They are originally from Croatia) and that's the secret for their success....you will feel like being part of their extended family.Our favourite menues are: Scholle (German specialty, like a flat fish) , any pasta with salmon, steaks, tapas..... mmmm..... any dish is delicious!In the winter, Roni prepares different kind of dishes like Hirsch Ragout as well and that's also great.You can sit outside or inside, wherever you like it better.In the cold season, there will be LIVE music every second Friday. Check their website for more infos. There should be plenty of parking available once the construction (DEC 2016-APR 2017) is done but even now you will most likely find a parking lot along the Mosel.ENJOY :-)
