Pellolitto Pizzamanufaktur - Trier

Wir waren heute (Samstag) mit 3 Leuten zu Gast in der Pizzamanufaktur pellolitto.2x Spaghetti "Aus Versehen glücklich" und 1x Pizza Nice Alles hat ausgezeichnet geschmeckt und die Bedienung war super freundlich, schnell und sehr zuvorkommend ! Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder

Langes warten auf mittelmäßiges Essen. Trotz mehrfacher Nachfrage wurden die Gerichte erst nach ca. 2,5 Std serviert. Die Pizza war bereits kalt als sie den Tisch erreichte. Der Inhaber hatte nicht den Mumm die Beschwerde selbst zu klären und schickte mehrfach sein Personal vor. Sehr schade.

Besondere Speisen und leckerer Wein. Ein Tip für denjenigen der mal etwas anderes Essen möchte. Der Chef berät hier noch persönlich.

We hebben in dit restaurant genoten van een geweldige tonijn steak, heerlijke pizza en smaakvolle wijn. De eigenaar weet je te entertainen met mooie verhalen. Leuke tent met smaakvolle inrichting.

On a business trip with a colleague, we chose Pellolitto but did not make reservation. All reservations were for outside tables so we sat inside, which was nice. Ordered the Calimar and it was very good. We both had pizzas (mine vegan) and they were decent. Good wines with mostly Spanish appellation. The biggest negative was what we took as a bit of American animus. With the Spanish wines and the Spanish music playing we were a little bemused as we thought it was an Italian restaurant. My colleague inquired about what type of restaurant did they consider their place and it was met with "mediterranean." My colleague pointed to the Spanish music and she respond that it was Cuban. He said okay "Spanish?" Then she retorted, "You are American, no?" which came across as insulting. Yes, these dumb Americans actually know traditional Cuban music is heavily influenced by African and Spanish music. In fact the Cuban music being played (Buena Vista Social Club) falls into the genre of Guajira which was derived from Punta Cubano popular in Spain in the 18th/19th century. The Spanish Tre guitar is also prevalent on this album. But what do we know.Otherwise, a decent place for a meal.
