I think they might take German cards too but assume cash only!We found the staff to be friendly, the service good, and the food delicious. In particular the gambas were juicy, and the chicken very well marinated. The bruschetta type dish was also a highlight. (There was a discrepancy on our bill where an additional round of drinks had been added but there was no problem with rectifying this. Always check your bill though!
After an unpleasant experience at the Italian Klein Florenz a few metres away we decided to try out this delightful tapas restaurant. Food was excellent. Lovely ambiance. Extremely helpful waitress who was only too happy to make recommendations. Price was excellent value for money. If you like tapas it's not too be missed.
Very bad experience with the payment, when we asked to pay with credit card the manager told us roughly to go withdrawal money to the nearest ATM because in Germany they don't accept not German card. In the full vacation we payed with credit card as we always do... Tapas far too salty and service very slow.
We went here without reservation and on a whim. From the outside it doesn’t look very great, more like a fastfood restaurant but when you go inside you will take a seat in the back where it’s very cosy. The waiter’s English wasn’t very good but we made it work and he was very friendly. We ordered 8 different tapas and all of them were delicious, especially the gambas, the meatballs in tomato sauce and the aioli. Very glad we stumbled upon this and would definitely recommend.
Highly recommended for those looking for a break from typical German faire. The flavors are wonderful and the sangria is excellent. We especially recommend the gambas, which might just be the best in the city.
