I ordered the half chicken salad with thinly sliced compressed style chicken, iceberg lettuce, cucumber, chili, and grated carrots. It came with a jar of Heinz-style mayo on the side for mixing, all for $16 plus tax. Although I don't usually leave reviews, I had to mention that people were making fun of us, so I wouldn't recommend this place unless for its cleanliness.

We enjoy finding new cheese shops. Victoria was decent, but our hopes for the food and poutine were higher, so it's our own fault if we didn't enjoy it.

I ordered a basic poutine to eat in the restaurant. Not a fancy duck dish, just a classic poutine. They invited me to sit down and said they would serve me, which was fine. However, I ended up waiting for a long time. Another couple who arrived after me received their club sandwiches before me, and I had to go back to the counter to inquire about my order. Overall, this experience was disappointing for me.

I got sick on August 8, 2024 this time. The waiter told me that the regular and BBQ sauces were gluten-free, but it seems like either the sauce is not gluten-free or the oil is contaminated, as others have mentioned in their comments. In 2020, they had a dedicated fryer for the fries, so I was able to enjoy a poutine with pepper sauce only. The food was really good.

Navigating this restaurant was a bit tricky as there was no information about gluten free options on the menu. However, after asking the server, I found out that the poutines could be made gluten free, except for the Italian gravy sauce. I opted for the poutine galvaude with peas and chicken, topped with barbecue sauce, while avoiding non-gluten free toppings like popcorn chicken. It was my first time trying poutine in Canada and it was a fun experience to get a taste of the local cuisine. Although I did not experience any adverse effects, I was unaware of the potential cross contamination issues mentioned by other reviewers. It might be risky for those with sensitivity to gluten.
