I opted for the "value" table d'hôte which, for an additional $9, allowed me to enjoy a generous portion of beef tartare along with a wonton soup, Khmer salad with chicken, tea, and a delicious ice cream topped with peanuts. The service was exceptionally friendly and welcoming.
This menu offers a variety of fusion dishes, including Thai and Vietnamese cuisine. The service and value are both excellent, and the restaurant has a lovely patio overlooking the river.
Today, I dined at the restaurant with a friend who had driven in from Montreal. We both ordered the daily special menu, as we had arrived too late for the lunch special. The special consisted of a shish kabob with shrimp, lamb, and chicken, served with a soup, salad, and a delicious apple donut dessert with ice cream and coffee. The service was friendly and efficient. We chose to sit outside without wearing masks, although my friend purchased one for $1 just in case. It was a bit ridiculous to have to wear a mask only when standing up, but I sympathize with the restaurant owners who are stuck dealing with these rules. I hope they are able to recover after such a long period of uncertainty.
We went to this restaurant for a business lunch. The service was extremely courteous and friendly. The food was fantastic. The four of us each enjoyed very tasty dishes that surpassed our expectation. You can't go wrong with any of the main dishes on the menu. The prices are very affordable, but this is not cheap eats, just excellent value.
Three of 3 dined at this restaurant a few weeks ago and we were pleasantly surprised by the high quality of the food that we had. There is a very nice front patio that looks over the St Maurice river which also adds to the pleasant atmosphere of this restaurant. The service is very good and the prices reasonable.
