Bangkok Cafe - Trondheim

Back to Trondheim after many many years and felt like having Thai. Last time I tried Bangkok cafe was more than 10 years ago, and I was delighted to find that they were still as good as before. I had a delicious Tom Kha Gai, my favorite dish, and it didn’t disappoint. We also tried sweet potato chips (a bit boring), Thai fish cakes (tasty and delicate) and Gad Pad Met Mamuang (well balanced and good). Ginger lemonade is a must. But skip the wine... They adjusted for all allergy issues without problems. And service is quick end efficient.

My daughter and I enjoyed a very tasty and good Thai dinner at this restaurant close to the city centre. The crispy pork in sweet and sour sauce tasted excellent, and portions and price generous. Thai beer available as well. However, the interior is a bit grey and sad, so you don’t expect the food to be so great. Kind and helpful staff. A restaurant with a typical Thai smile.

I went with my boyfriend, we had 2 main courses. Lovely food, but not friendly and charismatic service. I said I 'd like to order a Phad Thai with chicken and the women just looked down and started taking notes of my order. It 's not that hard to answer me back, smile and offer a tiny bit of friendly service. I also ordered water, recieved a glass without any information or dialogue about where the tap is for the water. Won 't be coming back unfortunately.

We went to dinner and were insecure from outside, but it was nice inside. eat extremely tasty and good portion sizes. the vegan options are clearly marked.
