Our group ended up leaving after ordering just a single drink and went to a different establishment. It's disappointing that we had this experience, especially since we've heard so many good things about the place. I'm not sure if we'll give it another try anytime soon.

Ignore the negative review from an uninformed individual who doesn't understand the impact of a pandemic on small businesses. This restaurant is exceptional, offering the best cocktails and mixed drinks in the capital region, paired with delicious dishes. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, consistently providing a five-star experience.

As someone visiting from outside of New York State, I was excited to enter the Cafe, my first board game cafe. However, my excitement quickly faded when I was immediately instructed to put on a mask upon entering. I put on a customer-supplied N95 mask and proceeded to the counter to order food. To my dismay, I was informed that a reservation was required to dine inside. Despite there being 10 open tables, they were all reportedly reserved within five minutes of our arrival. I later found out on their Google page that they were only seating at 50% capacity. I had planned to spend approximately $50 on drinks and food and potentially return during my next ski trip to New York. However, I left with two N95 masks costing around $10 and no desire to come back. Overall, my experience was disappointing and the cafe suffered a net loss of at least $60 as well as a negative review.

I am from well out of NY state (midwest to be more exact) and have fallen in love with this cafe, between the folks working there, the delicious drinks (i recommend the greyskull) and cookies that I always make sure to bring back home for the family, Bard and Baker has always provided a warm atmosphere. Well worth the lengthy drive, and even worth the gifted delivery to close friends lucky enough to live nearby.

I left my mask in my car and was immediately bruised to attract one. the mask they offer was super tight and unpleasant. I am always treated very rudely by the same overweight, older, white female manager. I don't care if my calm spirit. very expensive for very little value. paid $5 for a bundled cake and it was a mini bundled cake. it was tiny. I would have liked to have the size of the portion I paid for.
