I don't know what to rate this! I was not a fan of the lentils I ordered. Apparently lentils aren't my thing. Is this the fault of the purveyor? No! The place was busy so... 4 stars. There is no dine in, me and the woman yelled back and forth from the hallway to the counter separated by plexy. Some company was outside using their electric chargers for their cars but not actually eating. Weird experience. Follow me on Google to read future reviews.
Food is delicious! Authentic lebanese food with great service and prices. 10/10 great restaurant
Even after numerous years, this restaurant remains a reliable option for Lebanese cuisine. The salmon with mushrooms that I had was flavorful and delicately seasoned. I opted for grilled vegetables instead of rice, which were cooked perfectly and had a ratatouille-like taste. The lentil soup was hearty, comforting, and had a subtle warmth to it. The only minor critique I have is that the salad could have used more tomatoes and cucumbers and less (or none) sliced onions. I definitely need to visit this place more frequently.
Today was my first time trying out this restaurant. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by a unfriendly woman. I wanted to order the chicken shawarma and rice lunch special for $10 as advertised, but I have celiac disease so I asked if the rice had pasta noodles in it. The woman assured me that it was plain. I then asked if I could add grilled vegetables to my order, and she said it would be an additional $2. When she told me my total was $18, I asked her to remove the veggies. I also asked for a small spoonful of hummus to sample, but she wanted to charge me $2.50 for it, so I told her to forget it. When I got home, I found out that the rice did have small pieces of noodles in it. It's disappointing when a restaurant is dishonest about their prices and disregards customers with dietary restrictions. It's no surprise that they have a low Yelp rating compared to other Middle Eastern restaurants in the area. I work nearby at a large company, and I will make sure we don't use their catering services and instead encourage my coworkers to dine at the other nearby restaurants.
