Uncle Cal's Smokehouse - Troy

We stopped to eat here as we passed through and it was definitely worth it! The brisket was amazing and the bbq sauce hit the spot. The owner was very friendly too!

We were on the road to San Antonio, and we're very hungry and saw this restaurant which has high reviews. We decided to try.... It was take-to go restaurant and no where to go... After took the oder and had several bites of their food (Briskets, pork ribs three sides- creamy corn, banana pudding baked beans... , we had to throw away 35 dollars meal... it was the worst bbq I ever had.... yikes...

Was looking forward to bbq but the only seating is one table outside and it’s 30 degrees and drizzling. Just passing through and not a meal for in the car. It smells heavenly and this 3 stars has nothing to do with the food.

Real nice hole in the wall spot. Loved the food and the owner's pretty nice guy. Great service. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Great place with friendly ownership. Nice place to sit outside and eat.
