Bistro on Prince - Truro

I was staying at the Holiday Inn for business and since I had very little time, I figured I'd eat here in the evenings since I'd get back to the hotel rather late (around 8pm). This place was nice and quiet with decent food. I sat in the bar area every time and it's very comfortable. Staff are quite friendly as well.

Selections from the Chef's menu were great. Wine list was adequate - no better place to eat in Truro.

The service was good until the restaurant filled up; then it got slow. The food was good, no great. My steak was not of the highest quality. We had nothing really bad to say about it, but nothing really good either. We just...had a meal, and went to bed.

Excellent food and service, had the haddock with smashed potatoes, mouth watering, haddock was perfectly cooked.

Atte there Friday night and had breakfast Saturday and Sunday. Miscommunication between the front desk and the dining room about hours,so ended upin the bar section. The hamburger I had was forgettable and couldn't eat the fries due to an allergy to the spice on them.... and not offer to discount the meal.Had breakfast both days - not enough on the buffet to justify the pricec charged and the staff, especially one server whose name I did not get,were testy and rude.
