For a recent family birthday, the Honouree, at 94 years young, requested pizza from the Pizza Market. We ordered 3 large pizzas to be picked up all 3 were excellent. We could not eat all the pizza so enjoyed it for breakfast the next day. It was still crispy yummy! Since Pizza Market opened, it has spoiled me for any other pizza. Keep up the good work!
This pizza place has a great crust, but the overall pizza is too salty for my taste. I'm not sure if it's the pepperoni, sauce, or both causing it. Other than that, I would give their pizza a thumbs up.
I cannot say enough good words about the pizza market.. everything from their food, to their service, to their consistency in every aspect. My fiance is celiac and you would not believe how hard it is to find a quick take out meal in Truro. Look no further if you are looking for the same! They have an amazing gluten free crust and take extreme precaution when preparing the food! We love pizza market soooo much and the staff is always very very friendly. Highly recommended :
We were staying the weekend in Truro and needed to find some food later one evening, after sit down restaurants had mostly closed. We decided pizza would be the best choice and decided to try The Pizza Market based on their interesting menu and the fact they had a gluten free option for my wife. We tried a gluten free Tucson pizza and a regular crust Manhattan pizza. We have never had pizza this good. Yes, really! The regular crust was tender, had a nice airy texture and came with a nice amount of sauce, but was not sloppy though. There was just the right amount of ingredients (pizza sauce BBQ sauce, steak, green peppers, mushrooms, caramelized onions, mozzarella and cheddar cheese) which didn’t overwhelm the pizza but also did not feel like it was sparsely populated! The gluten free Tucson pizza came with sundried tomato pesto, chicken, basil, garlic, sundried tomatoes and two cheeses, mozzarella and feta. The crust was firm but tender and the ingredients went together very well with lots of bold flavor. We also tried their oven baked wings which were delicious. We had the Thai sweet pepper style sauce which was not too sweet and a nice touch of spice. We highly recommend this wonderful new pizza parlor in Truro!
