Sanpeggio's Pizza - Trussville

Overall, my wife and I really enjoy Sanpeggios. When we moved to Trussville this spring, everything we ordered was excellent! However, on our most recent visit, our pizzas were lacking in cheese, and the usually delicate crust seemed a bit too chewy. On a positive note, the buffet and fresh pizzas were very good. Unfortunately, the restaurant was not very clean during our visit. We hope that our next delivery will be as great as it used to be!

The pizza buffet is quite limited. It features standard pizza offerings, nothing out of the ordinary. They do have an “all you can eat” option, but it’s quite small—usually just three types of pizza and occasionally some bread. If you’re looking for a specific kind of pizza, you can ask them to prepare it, but overall, the selection is minimal. The prices are comparable to those of a Pizza Hut lunch buffet, but the offerings here are significantly smaller. The key difference is that they provide a variety of pizzas, unlike Pizza Hut's set selections.

Excellent! The food is wonderful, and the portion sizes are generous! The salads are fantastic!

The pizza is fantastic - the spinach, bacon, Alfredo-yum!! The service is not so great, but the food is good!

I was greeted by nice staff upon entering the restaurant and ordered a personal pan~ pepperoni and mushroom with extra sauce. The price was fair and slightly cheaper compared to other restaurants, and it only took about 10-12 minutes to cook and packaged. The pizza itself was great! The pepperoni was crisp and crunchy, with stretchy cheese (the best kind) and deliciously flavored marinara sauce. The bread had a nice brown and had a nice crunch. The only downside to this pizza was that it was very greasy, but that’s pretty much inevitable to when making any pizza because cheese naturally has grease in it. Overall, I had a nice experience at the store and the pizza itself was great.
