But the reality is very poor quality of toppings. The sausage is semi-molded balls that look to have beenpre-frozen. The red onions were transparent, having sat for far too long in water. The pineapple was canned, which was okay.Jalepenos were mushy pickled kind; red sauce was decent. The cheese was similar in quality to those hard balls of mozerella youget at the market, not the soft, white, freshly pulled mozerella at better restaurants and artisan markets. Really affects thequality. On two different visits, the first pizzas were cooked properly. The second visit, they were horribly over-baked. Thecheese had gone from white to orange to crusty brown. Worse, they didn 't call out my order when it was done. It went into thewarming drawer, where the texture went from crunchy (burned) to chewy and burned, with rubbery cheese. When I inquired where myorder was, the guy said, It 's in the warming drawer. I asked how long it had been there. He said It 's warm. Took home he twopizzas and the last salad of the day, which I was assured was fresh. Dished up the salad and had to pick through mushy onionsand tomatoes and toss out about 30% of the lettuce, which had turned brown. We ate one of the pizzas out of desperation; theother was tossed after one slice was eaten. Never, never again. Also, the owners made the employees work in searingly hottemperatures on a day where other, more humane restaurant owners gave their staff the afternoon off due to excessive heat.
This restaurant has significantly declined in quality over the past year! The removal of the kid-sized pizza option is unacceptable. Additionally, the lack of air conditioning and buzzers to notify customers when their food is ready is a major issue. The employees are visibly uncomfortable and sweating profusely. We have decided not to return and will instead make the drive to MODpizza.
Excellent! Combo split with a Chicken Alfredo was a great stop for two. Also, try their pomegranate lemonade to wash it down.
The pizza had delicious flavors, the staff was friendly, and the overall experience was enjoyable. However, the ambient noise was overpowering, possibly due to the architecture or the hard surfaces throughout the restaurant. There was also a loud fan noise coming from the prep/cooking area, making every dropped tray or tossed item sound amplified. Despite these issues, we will return for the delicious flavors, but will opt for take-out only next time.
I decided to visit Cabrera's for lunch. I had seen this place before but never went in until now. The restaurant was super spacious and clean, with lots of crust options and unlimited toppings to choose from. The ordering process was quick and we received our order in a timely manner. I enjoyed being able to try different combinations on one pizza. The pricing was reasonable and there were plenty of drink choices available. I would recommend checking out Cabrera's if you are in the area and looking for pizza options.
