There were some changes in the building. Only to discover during the meal would the restaurant close before the new year. This location gave many a beautiful view of the water. During my visit the food was lazy and the atmosphere felt like at home. I will come back before closing for some fantastic handmade dishes with funny hand cut designs.
If you're in a hurry, don't go here. It seems that the service is friendly, but occasionally laxidasical. If you are not in a hurry, the food is worth waiting and the view outside is so beautiful, it doesn't matter that you will be a bit there. It is not for everyone, but if you want good Thai food at a casual but beautiful location, it is worth checking. The food is with some of the best Thai places out there.
That's the BEST Thai restaurant I've ever waited for and trusted me... I was at every Thai restaurant in Portland. The food is excellent and affordable, the pad Thai is DELICIOUS, the atmosphere is beautiful with the lake in the background and the formal yet inviting tables in the restaurant. One of the things that really stand out about this place is the staff. The people who work here are friendly, friendly, generous and well maintained. It really makes the difference. My husband, I and my daughter love this place. We look forward to going back soon!!!!!!
I've only had their carryout, but when I go to pick up the food, I notice the place looks very classy and has some sort of patio/lake out back that looks like a very nice place to have a meal. The food itself is very good. Some items are a bit overpriced, while some are priced just right, but everything is very tasty regardless. The Panang curry with chicken is excellent, as is their Pad Thai.
