Allen's Clam - TUCKERTON

Two hours ago, I visited the Clam Bar and had a rather disappointing experience. I mistakenly assumed I would be getting large clam shells, but instead, I ordered the clam strips and was met with a surprise. If you don't have strong teeth, be prepared for a struggle, as they were thick and chewable like hardened rubber. I won't be returning to this place. Additionally, the waitress seemed untrustworthy with handling payments, which added to my negative experience.

I've been coming here for 35 years, and the food has always been excellent, but something has changed! I'm not sure if there are new owners or what, but it's just terrible now!

AWESOME SEAFOOD RESTAURANT!! have been going there for yrs. Introduced our grandson to Allen's a few yrs. back and he's hooked. Just this year we brought a friend and it's her go to seafood rest. So sad we will no longer be able to have OTC's with the horseradish!!

Love this place! Prices are good for seafood
