The decor was eclectic, featuring one wall adorned with sports memorabilia and U of A artifacts, while another corner showcased elegant, flowing purple drapes. There was something for everyone to appreciate. The wooden chairs, decorated with Southwestern cutouts, were charming and fairly comfortable. The air was cool and refreshing, providing a nice respite from the scorching Tucson heat, which was over 100 degrees that day. I would happily return for the delightful coffee and vibrant atmosphere.
The atmosphere is really friendly and laid-back. Dining outside on the edge of Sabino Canyon offers a wonderful vibe. The coffee is outstanding, and while the food is tasty, the portions are a bit small and don't seem to justify the price. However, the staff does a great job of making everyone feel welcome.
Upon entering today, we were warmly welcomed by two smiling faces: an employee on her last day and the owner. My sister and I are both huge coffee lovers, and while my sister has been going through a tough time lately, it was clear that the owner and his employee sensed it. Not only did we enjoy some truly delicious coffees, but we experienced something even more meaningful. They took the time to show us that it wasn't just about serving coffee; it was about providing exceptional customer service and demonstrating genuine care and compassion for everyone who walks through their doors. The atmosphere was comfortable, cozy, and clean, and best of all, people were actually engaging with one another, having real conversations instead of staring at their phones or laptops. It was a refreshing experience with real people and real coffee. Thank you for the wonderful experience at Brewd A Coffee Shop! - Jamie Raquel
We had been wanting to visit this place for a while, but were deeply dissappointed. We both got a sandwich and coffee mid morning on a recent Saturday. One sandwich had blackish avacado on it and the other was toasted with rancid oil. We were too angry to approach the counter/cook, it was too rediculous. The coffee had no flavor either. So so terrible for such simple food. . . We will gladly drive the extra miles to visit Crossroads. We have never gotten anything bad there, on the contrary, everything has been exceptional. We really wanted to love this place, what a dissappointment!
Boy do I wish I lived in Tucson, specifically for how awesome this place is! I was having issues finding the coffee that fits MY pallet and these guys were awesome and walked me through it and made me the best iced coffee ever! I wish I got their names and I would shout them out!!
