Kazoku Sushi Japanese Cuisine - Tucson

Eating was pretty good, but I'm just in this department. the Jalapeño-Popper bowl was very good as the 2 rolls I ordered (crazy roll and spike roll.) I ordered a hot will, and I hardly got it warm. the service was missing something and the communication was difficult. also the parking place keeps like 7 cars, so it was quite frustrating trying to press into the last place when we arrived!

I was sitting there with my daughters a few days ago. one of my daughters and I ordered the C-3, which is the chicken teriyaki, tempura and california roll combo. my other daughter ordered hand rolls, sushi and other rolls, as well as house salad. I was happy with my order. my daughter complained, however, that her rolls were smaller than what they were used to. they also complained that the refilling water they were asked for never came. I had to give them my water. When we arrived at the restaurant, we had to wait for a place. there were no seats or there were people before us. I think they were under the staff. I'm not sure. service is not great there. I don't know if I'm returning.

This sushi restaurant gets two thumbs down: it feels tired and uninspired. The atmosphere lacks effort, with cracked and worn-out seats and dull walls and decor. The udon I ordered had visible freezer burn, indicating that it was not only old but had been cooked, frozen, and then reheated before being served. I definitely wouldn’t return here.

Once again, Kazoku has solidified its place as my go-to for fresh sushi, which is quite impressive considering we're in the desert. The staff is always polite, and the speed with which the food is prepared and served is outstanding, all while maintaining high quality. Thank you for yet another fantastic experience, Kazoku!

We paid over $20 for each meal but received very small portions. The teriyaki chicken arrived without any teriyaki sauce, and we also didn't receive the miso soup that was mentioned in the description. To add to our disappointment, we found three pieces of bone in the Korean spicy chicken. Overall, we were very disappointed.
