La Chaiteria - Tucson

This restaurant offers a unique and delicious variety of Mexican cuisine, with healthy and vegan options available. They serve breakfast and lunch/dinner all day. I ordered the regular Barbacoa burrito, which included beans, rice, a thick corn tortilla, and side veggies. I usually can't finish my meal, but this dish was so good that I ate every last bit. The restaurant has a large beverage cooler with beer, soda, juice, and electrolyte-filled drinks. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the decor is fun and artistic. The restaurant is handicap accessible, but be aware that the parking lot has loose gravel. If you need a ramp, park in front of the elephant Ashtanga Yoga sign.

Amazing food options for both vegans and non-vegans! There is also a small market for unique food items. The drinks and smoothies are excellent. The portions are generous and they occasionally offer pastries.

I enjoy visiting local restaurants wherever I go, but especially in Tucson. We found this restaurant on Google Maps and decided to give it a try based on its great reviews. While I enjoyed what my companions ordered, I was not as impressed with my choice. The food was decent, but I found it to be on the expensive side.

Delicious and healthy food, which is so surprising for how flavorful it is. I’ve had jackfruit carnitas in many places but this one was by far my favorite. I highly recommend the ropa viejas and their drinks. Everything we got was great: mole veggie plate, rainbow smoothie, and horchata latte.
