My main issue was with the management, who hovered around our table several times to make sure we hadn’t left any rolls behind. I believe it was the owner who kept coming back to chastise us, even when we hadn’t touched the extra rolls. It was quite annoying, uncomfortable, and completely unnecessary. This will be my first and last visit to this restaurant. Overall, the food was good, but the experience was marred by the staff.
The sushi was decent for Tucson standards, though it felt a bit overpriced for the quality. However, it wasn't bad.
Bomb! the sashimi was fresh and tasty. we ordered 3 rolls and they were absolutely invinced. bathrooms were clean and service was topdevine. 1 year later, eating was so good. everything was fresh. we were very confused about who our waitress was. we have 5 different people over. I personally didn't use the toilet room this time, but my daughter did. She said it smells awful in there and wasn't very clean. from 5 stars to 4 go.
Great eating, nice people, but they have won?t let them come and eat within 30 minutes to close. plan their journey to this restaurant accordingly. they allowed us to sit in the lobby and in the order version, but flatly rejected others who came after our arrival. to live in tucson for almost 30 years, I have never seen it in another restaurant.
We had a few favorite sushi spots in our previous town, and we’ve been searching for a good place in Tucson until we found this one. The sushi was delicious and reasonably priced. The service was decent—nothing extraordinary, but no significant problems either. We will definitely be returning.
