The Diamond Cafe - Tucson

The food was surprisingly delicious and the price was very fair. Service was fine, but could have been better since we (all 11) were waiting until our booking time, although there were empty tables everywhere. Obviously, they didn't set up our table easily. Orders were not all at once. Our server came by to ask if it would be okay if there were a 15 minute running time for half the orders. What were we saying? No?

Slow service. The longest I ever wait for a meal... over an hour from the ordered time to the arrival at the table. There were only 4 of us, not a big party. Lobster Bisque was brown instead of pink. Like they used a beef base for broth. Not at all lobster bisque. Crab cake destroyed by sitting in a puddle when vinegar. The waitress never came back to refills, had to ask other waiters who went past refill drinks. Even for a casino dinner it was terrible. I was in other casinos with much better food and service. I don't recommend it.

The food was just like that. The party had a ribbed steak that was 1/4 inch thick and well made when ordered medium rare., Do not see how you can cook a steak that is thin to order

No bad place, but I would have expected more quality food for the price.

Food was good, when we got it, service was a bit confused and slow! Maybe writing down the order would be better!
