I used to frequent their northern location for over ten years, but I had been missing out on their iconic downtown spot. I would give this TCB a solid four out of five stars. While parking can be a bit of a hassle, the atmosphere inside their spacious warehouse is spot on. I really enjoyed the vibe they have created in there. The food is also top-notch, with the artichoke dip being a particular standout. Their selection of beers is diverse and intriguing, especially their small batch microbrews. The staff is friendly and highly knowledgeable. TCB is definitely a great spot for gatherings or just hanging out.
Let's start with service 5 stars, friendly and accommodating and willling to please Ambiance ... 3 stars mostly because not my favorite type of loud music...and the tables wobble and lean Food...4 1/2 stars...might have gotten 5 stars but the chicken on the salad sat a little too long in the fryer. BUT...the wings...total Ten...full and messy and so friggin tasty. Beer...I am not the beer person in the group but the Orange You Glad is refreshing and tasty, perfect for the non-beer hound.
Beer good Food good Music bad I'd come back for the beer and the food, but wouldn't stay too long because of the obnoxious music.
I had dinner here two nights ago with a Meetup group. I don't drink, so I can't comment on the beer. For dinner, I had a Southwest Chopped Salad $14) with Italian dressing. It comes with spicy breaded chicken, but you can get it without the spice or with increased spice. I got the mild and it was plenty spicy. It was pretty good. Menu prices seemed high overall. There was overly loud music, which I could have done without. You order at the counter; it took a long time for the food to arrive.
Decent beer and friendly bartenders. Live music in the evenings. Great downtown location.
