Ume Asian And Sushi - Tucson

My husband recently picked up two orders of orange chicken and fried rice to go from this restaurant. Unfortunately, the presentation of the food was terrible. It looked like we were given leftover scraps. The way the food was presented is not up to the standard that this restaurant claims to uphold. I honestly believe I could have gotten a better meal at Panda Express or made it myself at home. It seems like they have young and inexperienced staff working here, or they are cutting corners. If they are struggling financially, they should consider closing down the entire restaurant. The quality of the Asian food served here is very disappointing and below average. I tried calling to give feedback, but there was no answer, which is concerning. The service at this restaurant is not satisfactory.

I do not recommend ordering sushi from this restaurant. During my visit, which was about 30 minutes before closing time, I decided to order a cucumber roll to go since they were out of white rice. Unfortunately, the roll was poorly made and the server accidentally dropped the container on the floor before handing it to me. On a positive note, the Ume chicken wings were crunchy and delicious. Overall, the service for my takeout dinner was lacking.

Second time we come to try to eat and service was refused for no waitress on duty.... Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

I came here to eat the happy hour items and drink some happy hour cocktails, for some reason the bartender doesn't always hang out in the bar so it takes a while to get a drink. Other than that the drinks are amazing and so are the appetizers! The very next morning I brought my two kids and husband to eat all you can eat sushi it was spectacular, My husband and kids got the sesame chicken and orange chicken and they said it's the best they have ever had! I highly recommend everybody to come to this place! Kid-friendliness: As long as you walk with your kids through the casino they are allowed to eat at any of the restaurants.

Beautiful place UGLY customer service. This is my first visit here... And besides the hotel itself, it's quickly becoming my last. When we arrived we called from our room to the front desk to ask the time of the buffet closing, we were told 10. We went down a little after 6 and were told it was closing in 45 minutes. We ended up at the Asian restaurant Ume, we waited quite a while to be seated, waited to be greeted by our waiter, between all of these waits we ended up 19 minutes late for happy hour, never received one of the drinks that we ordered, received slightly burnt food, then waited for the bill while the wait staff enjoyed a nice conversation at the bar. All in an EMPTY RESTAURANT! The waiter accused me of taking a picture, I was threatened with calling security to go through my phone if the manager didn't see the pictures I took, and not a single person was apologetic or even felt like the situation needed to improve. The manager comp'd a few items. But the waiter never even showed his face again. Just rude. So far, I'm disgusted...
