This seafood restaurant has two dining areas - one is a summer terrace and the other is a heated winter terrace. The staff is very courteous and accommodating. We enjoyed the grilled squid, sea bass, and seasonal salad, all of which were delicious.

We went to this restaurant based on lonely planet’s recommendation, which could be a hit or miss, and unfortunately was a miss this time. We ordered 2 appetizers, stewed shrimp and salad. The shrimps tasted good but the size was tiny and potion was small given the price. Note that the listing price is “per person” so multiply that by the number of guests you have. The salad was fine but very wet at the bottom. For main course, we first ordered grilled sea bass. The waiter recommended grilled snapper so we got that as well. Both lacked flavor and didn’t taste fresh. They were also served in one plate and it’s hard to tell them apart given how bland they were… For drinks, we got coffee and tea. Nothing out of the ordinary. The best part of the meal was the bread and free Turkish dipping sauce, which tasted good. Staff were also nice and attentive. Total cost was over 900 liras, not worth the price given the quality of food.

I enjoyed our 2 plus hours lunch in the back in the garden ..The service is professional and can be quite amusing as in the case of Ali who entertained us greatly. Like many places in town I feel the wine is a bit overpriced an almost 300% mark up on the same bottle of sauvignon blanc we had purchased at a small wine bar the day before. but it was good and with draft beer available you should make it through the meal without ordering another...Service is relaxed..so order the beer first... lol.. I though the fried calamari starter was a bit on the small side but it was very good.. The sea bass however ,was outstanding ! They brought us 2 delicious Turkish deserts to try.. a surprise which of course ended up on the bill but we enjoyed them as well..There are certainly worse places to enjoy a meal in Istanbul and we would go back happily.

We had an outstanding lunch here one of the best seafood meals in recent memory. The sea bass, snapper, and cold mezzes were delicious and perfectly prepared. We are already planning to return for dinner. Highly recommend!
