They were NOT flexible. In fact, the lady was rude and unapologetic with the pick up time. They wouldn't let us taste the Lumpia either. We traveled over a half hour to order it. We were, however able to get great customer service and our order filled at Crispy Town. They let us taste before ordering. Yummy!Ordered Lumpia and Lechon and they were totally flexible on the pick up time.
I've walked past this place a number of times since they opened. Always tempted by the thought of crispy pork skin. Today I took the leap and ordered. The auntie behind the counter was very helpful since I didn't know which name was the one I wanted. Turns out it's the Crispy Bagnet (Pork Belly) with rice. I didn't get any side dishes. For $7.99, I got at least a 1/2 lb chopped slab of pork belly, two huge scoops of rice, a packet of soy sauce, and a cup of strong vinegar/citrus dipping sauce. Everything was steaming hot, the pork was so crispy. The dipping sauce was super light and tart. Perfect for counteracting the heavy fat content of the meal. Glorious experience, highly recommend for the price! If my cholesterol doesn't kill me before our next trip, my wife will be hard pressed to keep me from eating here again.
New addition for me since a year ago. Fried foods sell. Place named well. Get your crispy on with great dipping sauces. Staff seem helpful.
One of our go to place to eat at the mall. There are several food choices, but not as much as the grill city, none the less, foods are delicious just a bit smaller servings. The Ladies (Nanays serving) are very pleasant, reminds me of home.
I had the crispy pork with rice and the chicken skins. I can say that it was the end of the day and I was aware the food may not be the freshest. However I liked the flavor and the sauces they provided enhanced the experience for me. I have never heard of black vinegar but I can see why the container was almost empty. Overall I think this place has some potential.
