Spice Bridge houses four start-up restaurants each day. The day I went WUHA, Ethiopian food, had a veggie injera roll and veggie sandwich on the menu. Wengavegetables. (Philipino) served Pancit Bihon, thin pan-fried noodles with wegetables.. Moniques Hot Kitchen had veggie dumplings. I sampled all and they were great! A fabulous lunch and a good cause.
This is a small food hall with rotating small restaurants. We had the Ethiopian and Filipino food, both were really great. The food hall is a food business incubator giving immigrants and low income families a way to start a food business. We can't wait to go back and try some of the other 8 restaurants
As others mentioned, the spice bridge is a space with rotating food providers. we visited on Friday and had happy to be able to eat in jazze’s at lunchtime and had: boulane gluten-free mandel flour based baked goods somewhat similar to Indian paratha, and served with a similar green chutney and yogurt on the side. We had 2 pieces filled with kartoffel and wobbles and 2 filled with pumpkin. so good! burani bratschwein with seasoning and a flat brot on the side. served with yogurt up, which can be omitted to make it vegan. ashak that was my favorite: laekknödel with seasoned lenses (open company like chana dal) and yogurt (which again, if omitted, makes the dish vegan). wow, I could eat all day! it somehow reminds me of Turkish manti, but I really liked that better, the tomaten spiced lenses really over the top. I was super cheated to see that jazze’s not on Sunday when we swing back on these wise, but we will dive in to try one of the other providers I’m sure. updated by previous review on 2021 11 05
As others have mentioned, Spice Bridge is a space with rotating food vendors. We visited on a Friday and were lucky to be able to lunch at Jazze’s, and had: Boulanee gluten free almond flour based pastry somewhat similar to Indian paratha, and served with a similar green chutney and yoghurt on the side. . We had 2 pieces filled with potato and onion, and 2 filled with pumpkin. So good! Burani roast squash with spices and a flat bread on the side. Served with yogurt on top which can be omitted to make it vegan. Ashak this was my favorite: leek dumplings topped with spiced lentils (seemed firm like chana dal) and yogurt (which again, if omitted, makes the dish vegan). Wow, I could eat this all day! It kind of reminds me of Turkish manti, but I actually liked this better the tomatoey spiced lentils really put it over the top. I was super bummed to see that Jazze’s wouldn’t be in on Sunday when we’d be swinging back that way, but we’ll be popping in to try one of the other vendors I’m sure.
