They make their own pickles (they are sweet) and said they try to make as much in-house as possible, which I like. The ambiance is cozy. They have clean and simple decorations. You can see right into the kitchen where your food is being made. Their thick-cut potato chips were amazing, I would go back just for the chips - a heaping bowl of potato goodness that wasn't greasy, just the right portion of crunchy and soft pieces. Their garlic ranch is outstanding, and the chips were seasoned with the perfect amount house seasoning. I had the Jumpin' Jalapeno burger medium rare. The meat is good quality. I wish there had been more pickled red onions, which were the star of the burger for me. The toppings were a little off balance needing more of some and less of others, but overall a good taste. I did not really care for the buns they use, which are soft, pull apart easily, and the bottom bun is very thin so it soaked up all the juices leaving me unable to hold the burger. The taste was still quite good. My partner had the "It Is What It Is," which is chef's choice of burger that's not on the menu. It ended up being spinach and artichoke, which wasn't bad, just extremely wet. The toppings fell off the burger and there was lot of soupy liquid left on the plate. The burger prices are a little steep, but I think it was worth it for the friendly service and creative menu items.

Went with my family for Father's Day, and I was not too impressed. I ordered the early bird burger and ranch & bacon fries. The fries came out first, and the restaurant was so cold inside that they were not longer hot after a minute or so. The bacon and the fries separately tasted good, but the toppings were kinda all on one side instead of distributed across the fries. The burger came out next, and I was disappointed. My fried egg was a bit too runny and my medium burger was more like a medium rare. Regardless of those two small issues, the flavor of the burger was less than expected. I really wanted to like it, but Fat Guys has a much more flavorful burger. When you pay $46 for 4 hamburgers (literally only the cost of the hamburgers, not including drinks, fries, etc.), you expect them to be pretty amazing. Mine was definitely a miss, but my father enjoyed the Kobe burger. The root beer is amazing though, so there's that!
By far the best burgers in town. The "Is What It Is" has become a weekly meal. The French fries are also amazing, especially the buffalo. You have to try this place!
Not a wrong choice on the menu. Supa Chedda, is my usual- but tonight it was Ambrosia, Old Fogie and buffalo fries. One in the party did not want the spicy sauce, so our excellent waitress Chris offered to serve a half dressed and half naked buffalo fry. They are delicious and not too spicy. The fact that Chris was able to accommodate this fry situation in such a positive manner made our dining experience. The Ambrosia with its olive tapenade and savory flavors made this my second favorite BGB burger. We also had the Old Fogie, which was topped with a heart shaped pimento cheese. Chris said it was made with love by the chef! The space is intimate but has plenty of seating and is not loud even when full. The firs are awesome, the burgers are juicy with plenty of flavor. Try it and try it out again you will so glad you did! Old Fogie, ambrosia, and naked buffalo fries!
