The gordita was stuffed and sold for two dollars. I got two for four dollars including tax and couldn't finish the second one. This place is big on value. Now for the problems...the asada (steak) is seasoned in a sauce that tastes like a pre-packaged Taco Bell packet. I'm not saying that it is prepackaged, but it's heavy on salt and has that weird taste. The rice was a bit bland. Even with that said, I'd order it again if I lived in Tulsa because of the price and delicious bread. I asked for salsa and was brought out a salsa verde. It packed some heat, but not that much flavor outside of the heat. On the outside, it looks like part of the building next to it is caved in and in atrocious shape. The Casa Blanca portion is just fine and clean (but plain) on the inside.

I was devastated when they closed and absolutely over the moon when they reopened, albeit under a new name. It is a very affordable place that straddles the line between authentic and tex mex. There 's something here for everyone and you 'll be able to afford it. The staff is incredible, the food is delicious, the place has been recently remodeled and the gentleman running the place is a very likeable person. If you 're a true Mexican food snob, I have no idea how this place measures up but I have been to more authentic Mexican restaurants that did NOT have nopales and chilaquiles and the like. Tello 's (the new name) does have stuff like that and those dishes are amazing. It has a real community/neighborhood feel as well and this place has been running for over 20 years and, in short, it deserves your business.
Great customer service. Great prices and the Top shelf guacamole is Awesome
As a native Tulsan this place has been in business for 30 years and is Rock solid on basically traditional Mexican food. You can't beat it for lunch as the quality and prices are equally outstanding.Use your salsa on the crispy tacos and they are as good as it gets.Reasonably priced certainly a value.
