Chicken Express - Tulsa

We absolutely love this place. In addition to their fantastic chicken, they offer the best side dishes in town!

This is my favorite restaurant! They serve the best chicken, gizzards, fries, and fried okra that I've tried so far. Tomorrow, I'm planning to try the catfish and chicken tenders.

Updated review: With everyone increasing their prices lately, Chicken Express's price hikes don’t feel as extreme. They had raised their prices and decreased the size of the gravy dip container, but now the gravy dip is back to its original size, so that’s a nice improvement. It’s just disappointing that a few years ago, I could get the 4 tender combo for under $8, and now it’s over $11. The food is still tasty, but it was much more worthwhile when it was cheaper. Unfortunately, the value just isn’t there anymore.

We placed a to-go order and got the three-piece chicken dinner with fries and corn poppers on the side, along with a chicken liver dinner served with okra and corn poppers. The fried chicken was served hot, crispy, and cooked to perfection, while the corn poppers, which we had never tried before, were delicious. The chicken livers were also among the best we've ever had. Overall, it was a fantastic meal, and we can’t wait to return for more fried chicken!
