The fresh made taco bowl for the taco salad with the beyond taco meat and vegan crema is just TOO GOOD. I love the vegan puffy tacos too.The farmers market margaritas have to be the best drink in Tulsa. My only note is that during events like Cinco de Mayo therearen?t usually grab and gos for the vegans which bums me out cuz I expect Elote to take care of me. But I love this place.
The only reason I did not give a 5 star is because our service was very lacking. We waited over 10 min to give a drink order 15 before we actually got drinks. Waitress seemed VERY distracted. I had to go inside and ask for my bill in which case I was toldto go outside and wait. I saw our waitress standing and chatting in the back. We will be back for the food but hope that thewait staff gets better before then.
Great place for a quick lunch in downtown Tulsa! Today?s special was Puffed Tacos sides were rice and sweet potatoes. It was definitely a unique combo. The chips queso also unique. The queso was a cream cheese base with their salsa. Chips wereperfect for dipping!
Had lunch at Elote today and it was simply the best experience. The bartender ended up waiting on us on the patio even though they weren't doing table service. He was so thoughtful and accommodating... all for a less than $10 meal, which was deliciousand gluten free. I hadn't eaten here in two years, but I'll definitely be back again soon!
It was our waitresses first night but she was super sweet. My friend and i really enjoyed ourselves. We were seated in the outdoor patio! We boxed our leftovers and wrote a note on top of their boxes and we left them on our table, and two of the manymany homeless folks gathered them right up. Reminded us both of how blessed we are to get to choose where our next meal comesfrom. We had a conversation with one young man after i told him that i left some still hot tamales. We ran into him again aswe came out of the ice creamery and he was very thankful. Life is good!
