This is my second disappointing experience at Fleming's Tulsa and I won't come back! I have always enjoyed the service and especially the food in Fleming’s throughout the country; Unfortunately, this place does not meet the standard I used to eat at Fleming. Specifically, this was a special opportunity as I treated someone for my birthday, we arrived about five minutes early for our reservation and sat immediately. The server was quirky, but friendly, everything went well until after we get our beverage order, our server went AWOL! Support staff delivered our food order and continued to fill our waters; we only saw our server once when I had to request a takeaway box and check that took too long to actually receive. If that was not enough, the portion sizes were reduced and the ribeye of my companion was overhauled! A real disappointment! The server did not offer a box that was strange for Fleming’s. The server offered no photography or dessert for the birthday that was celebrated, which was strange for Fleming’s. One week before this experience I have set up a takeover order, and each individual participant (3) in the order was overhauled and although I was offered only one refund for this item, the overall experience left me to feel damaged!
I and my wife separated the 32oz Tomahawk. I was good, but I can make a better steak home. We ordered the steak medium and it rarely came to the table medium. I had read other reviews that said no matter how you order the steak, it will rarely come to your table medium. I just didn't believe it. Lol. If we go back, we'll try the filets. Maybe they'll be better.
Overall great food and service. New decor is not what I would associate with a prime steakhouse.
Love Flemings. Ate at the bar and our service was great and the food was great as always.
