I 'm in town visiting and I wanted to find the closest thing to Banh mi. With so many high ratings I decided to give this place a try. Kung Pao Banh Mi 4/10 I have to say it was just ok. My meat was really salty and that 's all it was. Bread was eh, and the daikons weren 't really pickled . It comes with won ton chips which were sprinkled in churro sugar (just sweet) I also ordered the most rated kimchi fries 4/10 Fries were hard and the cheese tasted like it was melted in a microwave with the fries under. The Kimchi and pickles were good! Sauce was good too. But if I had to give my honest opinion, this place is WAY OVERHYPED. Would I ever come back for a second chance? Yes, I 'll give them another shot (will try something else on the menu)
For an Asian fusion restaurant, it was ok.Definitely don’t go here if you’re looking for authentic bánh mì.I got a fried chicken sandwich and all I could really taste was the fried chicken. Reminded me of fast food fried chicken sandwiches. Not much other flavors, couldn’t really taste the aioli in the sandwich. (Maybe the fried chicken overpowered everything else?)It was served with wonton chips seasoned with sugar and cinnamon, which reminded me of churros.
Great place to get Vietnamese style Banh Mi sandwiches with an American fusion twist to it. The downtown location can get pretty busy with long lines during lunch or dinner rush hours, but the service has always been fast. We've been going to Lone Wolf for several years, and they never disappoint with their high quality and tasty options. I usually get their Kung Pao Pork Banh Mi sandwich, which has a combo of both sweet and spicy flavors. If I want a vegan option, I go for their Ginger Fritter Banh Mi sandwich, which uses chickpeas with ginger. If you don't want the baguette, they can turn any Banh Mi into a salad with chopped romaine lettuce. They also make good fried rice bowls as well. My favorite appetizer to get and share with other people is their popular Kimchi fries, which you can never go wrong with. Other good appetizers include their spring rolls, which comes with a sweet chili and aioli sauce, and their Wolf Wings, which come with several different sauces and spice levels. I highly recommend checking out this place at least once while in Tulsa!
Elevated food in a perfect setting. Put Lone Wolf on your list when passing through Tulsa. We had the Uber-tasty Soy Dijon Portobello Vegan Option. Spicy and sweet with Korean spices $9.55
