We were seated at a table that was nearly pushed up next to the people dining next to us, which was awkward for a minute. Luckily the most amazing waiter I've ever encountered, true story, noticed and corrected the situation. This guy made the meal excellent, and I noticed the rest of the staff were also wonderful. The inside of the restaurant has a classy yet home-like feel, with family photos covering the walls. I could see directly into the back, where there is a wood-burning pizza oven. We arrived 30 minutes earlier than our 6pm reservation because it was cold and rainy and we ran out of things to do in Tulsa on the day after Thanksgiving. There was plenty of room in the near empty restaurant and we were quickly seated. Twenty seconds after sitting down, our server, Amy, asked if we wanted anything to drink. Bustling festive atmosphere. Food was freshly made, delicious, traditional italian. Lovely range of dishes provided. Something for everyone. Very pleasant service. Ravioli was most interesting of the things we tried.
Dreadful eating, even worse service. my family is really disappointed because we were thrilled with the new location. eating was never great, but the environment has taken care of it. not now. zio’s and olive garden have better service and sad, better food. villa ravenna becomes our only place for delicious Italian cuisine.
I've recently eaten with some friends here. there were 6 of us and we had made a reservation. even if it was a busy Saturday night, we sat on the look for approx. 5 minutes before our reservation. I liked the dimm illumination and image overcrowded walls, but the space is somewhat narrow and there is not much distance between the tables. the service was excellent, apparently our waiter appeared when we needed something. I had a peroni and one of their wood-fired pizzas, the papa louie’s favorit. it was huge! the taste was excellent, but I expected a thinner crust. it was crisp, but more of a pfanne pizza teig thick. I also ordered a page...read more
