Monty's Bbq Fried Chicken - Tulsa

Great food and the staff were very friendly. I had 'the truth ' and it was awesome and a big portion for a sandwich. I also recommend the fried Mac and cheese. I 'm gonna try the fried okra next time but I 'm probably get that too!!!

The meat was juicy and has that tell-tale red ring that only a wood fired smoker gives. This is legitimate BBQ. I ordered a 2 meat 2 rib dinner which came with 2 sides. Good thin sliced brisket, a leg thigh quarter, two falling of the bone ribs, Texas toast, fried mac n cheese, and fried corn-$13.25 Pro: not served with sauce Con: a nibble of onion dill pickle would be welcome.

I visited yesterday and found the restaurant to be clean and well-maintained, with a very friendly and helpful staff. I ordered my meals to go and tried the chopped beef, Polish sausage, and hot link, accompanied by okra and baked beans. It was absolutely delicious! I also picked up a three-meat combo, a potato, and a pie to take to my parents, who also enjoyed their meals.

Tried Monty's for the first time this afternoon, because multiple co-workers recommended it. I tried the spareribs, brisket and the pulled pork and all three were smoked perfectly. The biggest surprise though, came from the baked beans. Hands down the best I've ever had. There's love in those beans. You can taste it.
