Sura - Tulsa

Last night, I visited Sura for the first time with a friend, and we both absolutely loved it! The entire experience was wonderful. The atmosphere was inviting, with calming music playing, and everything was impeccably clean. The staff was incredibly friendly. The menu offered a wide variety of choices, especially a vast selection of sushi options. I ordered the bulgogi bibimbap, which was delicious! I also had a warm and tasty starter of miso soup. I believe Korean food can truly be the ultimate comfort food. We shared a sushi roll, and it was one of the best I’ve ever had! It had the perfect texture, spice, and freshness. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I can't wait to go back!

This restaurant offers some of the best sushi I’ve ever had, and I especially love their soft shell crab. The jalapeño blossoms are fantastic as well. We always pair our meals with their plum wine, which, while tasty, isn’t the highest quality. Regardless, this spot is perfect for a date night or for impressing visiting friends and family with an amazing meal. I've celebrated my birthday here, and the customer service is wonderful, with portion sizes being just right. I visit this restaurant often and highly recommend it to everyone. They create the cutest sushi platters, and the kimchi is deliciously savory. Plus, they have great specials!

I was somewhat surprised by all the rave reviews about certain dishes, as my experience did not quite meet those expectations. Here’s why: we ordered the pork belly, bibimbop, and the Tulsa roll. Firstly, the sushi rice wasn't sticky enough, making it difficult to eat with chopsticks as it kept falling apart. Given the ingredients in the roll, I felt the price was not justified. The bibimbop was the most disappointing of the dishes. We anticipated a sizzling presentation that would crisp the rice, but the stone bowl it was served in was lukewarm. On a positive note, the pork belly arrived sizzling on a hot plate and was satisfying. Overall, I would rate this experience a solid 3 out of 5 and may consider trying other dishes in the future.

This restaurant is amazing! It offers a fantastic blend of Japanese cuisine, and every dish is expertly crafted. The Dragon Ball appetizer is something I've never experienced before. Their Ninja, OSU, Vegas, and Oklahoma rolls are also outstanding—perfectly put together. I'm a huge fan of the Spicy Chicken Korean Bowl as well. I would give it 10 out of 5 stars! This place is definitely a must-try!

The Vegan Bibimbap was absolutely delicious, and the staff was fantastic. I'm excited to return and sample more dishes!
