I have eaten at this place for years and it is some of the best classic hamburgers that I have found and the pile of fresh cut curly fries can't be beat. The new owners are carrying on that tradition and have added a line of authentic delicious Mexican food so there's something for everyone.
Finally trying Ty's, mixed feelings. Almost $29 for 2 burger meals with soda. Onion ring were pretty good, greasy but good. Tator tots not hot. A1 burgers small and slightly dry. Bacon was crispy and good. 1/3 lb burger looked exactly like the 1/4 lb burger. Not impressed with atmosphere, seemed old and throwned together without much thought. Guy at register was in front and going back working in kitchen and I never saw him wash his hands. Maybe my expectations were too much before I came in. Too many burger places for nice juicy burgers.
Went for grand reopening. They had tons of ppl there that were taking up both space but not ordering. Music was loud and the song was annoying because it was on repeat. Food was just okay. First impressions are everything.
Great little family owned restaurant with fresh burgers and Q fries, plus Mexican favorites and everything that goes along. Food is prepared to order, and quickly. Ty’s is able to do wonders with fries (I’m making up many of these names)…Frings: half fries, half onion rings; Frunions: fries with grilled onions on top; Frillies: fries with grilled onions and peppers on top; Frili: fries topped with chili (and also cheese and onions and whatever you ask for); the Frossibilities are endless!
