Weber's Root Beer Stand - Tulsa

Had small cheeseburger and chili cheese fries. The burger didn't look like much when it came out, but it was greasy and delicious. The cheese fries were an abomination, however. They just melted some kraft singles over fries. The chili on them wasn't great either. Come for burgers, skip the rest.

Sigh.... Oh Weber. what can i say your tatter tots are amazing and the root beer is always they key point of my visit. but the sloppy service is getting worse the older you become.

This place took me back to childhood, when every town had a root beer joint with ice cold frozen mugs. Webers has stayed true to its past by keeping its focus on this addictive sugary spicy root beer served in thick icy cold mugs. Whether you like their throwback food or not, they are worth patronizing for this elixir alone. In DFW restauranteurs spend big bucks trying to recreate this kind of vibe and patina. Bought the groupon for 2 root beer floats and went through the drive thru at 7:50pm. After he redeemed my groupon he said I'd have to pay $0.77 for the sales tax. Wouldn't take a credit card. We found $0.72 in our car and he told us we'd have to come back some other day because they close at 8. Not a pleasant experience and would not recommend.

Ups and downs. Amazing rootbeer. Just... incredible. Everything else is subpar, including the service. The place wasn't busy at all when I went, yet it still took 20 minutes to get my food from the drive-through. Next time, I might just order a large rootbeer and get better, cheaper food elsewhere.
