Basically drenched in the sauce... imposible to eat as a burrito so you just eat it with fork and knife. Weird. Server was really awkward and weird. And Im a native Spanish speaker. Finally, he tells us the added 10% is tax when we see in the receipt is tip. REALLY? Go elsewhere!
So, I have eaten lunch here twice in the past three weeks. The first time I got guacamole and a mixed grill dish, beer, and mezcal. The second time I got guacamole (big fan) and shrimp diablo. My only complaints are they don't give you enough tortilla chips when they serve the guacamole and salsas. I guess this is a good problem because the salsas and chips are very good. The guacamole was great the first time, but this second time it was very moist and almost watery. No bad taste or anything like that, just very loose guac. So, if they provided more tortilla chips with the guacamole and excellent salsa, and consistantly made the guacamole not loose like I encountered once, this place would easily be 5 stars. Good value also, for being on the main avenue.
We had lunch here Both ordered the brisket burrito They come with guacamole on the side Massive serve Tasted delicious Big thumbs up from us Priced medium we would go back
We didn’t plan to stop here. But we were so glad we did. Some amazing mole sauce. The guacamole was flavourful. And the prices were good!
Service was cheerful and fast. Atmosphere lovely nestled on a busy corner, great for watching tourists and locals go about their lives. Visited a few times, tried delicious lime soup and garlic soup (with a surprise) as well as dips, guacamole, nachos, fried fish and burritos. Fruit smoothies were great value too.
