Come hungry. These tamales are huge and they are very fresh and delicious. We hit up this place twice on our trip. The masa is fluffy and soft. It is wrapped in banana leaf.
Delicious! One is HUGE. My boyfriend and I each had one chicken and bean tamale and we were full. Super affordable. Great place to eat. Don’t let the aesthetic deter you from eating here. 10/10 recommend.
Really unassuming location. Very cheap ~15 mxn for a tamale which was super tasty. Small stall with lots of outdoor seating! Very friendly guy making the tamales and helpful with some English as our Spanish is terrible!
You could almost miss this place. At first it does not look very welcoming but staff is really nice and the food is very Mexican and freshly made. You sit almost inside their kitchen and the atmosphere is quite nice.
